Each burned line has a purpose,

it’s own depth and color,

every line has a result.

Putting them all together to improve the full picture

I have accomplished over 400 custom wood burnings since 2015. Showcased my art at a historical building for a month, gladly received at, The Red Rock Center For The Arts, in Fairmont MN. I am grateful to customers for 5 Star ratings, countless words and letters of thanks. Accomplished several art / craft venues, thrashing bees and successful booth exhibits at fairs.

The first time in Catholic grade school, creating different art projects, seemed effortless. The end of 8th grade, a sisters (nun) with a beautiful singing voice told me

“ Vicki if you do not continue with your art after high school, it will come back to you, FULL CIRCLE! ”

She was right! Over 40 years passed, this child prodigy has found her true calling. My talent never left me, all this time it has been quietly waiting to be recognized again.

My journey to a home-based business, after 40 years being separated from my talent

As a teenager in Southern Minnesota, working as a waitress at my parents restaurant. 1978 Mom and dad decided to shut the doors and retire. Years later, I took a position being a sign coordinator, worked my way up to general merchandise manager at a large retail grocery. Considerable amount of thought, I then headed to a large general store and excepted a management job. My life led me jumping in the world of fashion. Working at a popular family owned clothier store was inspirational. Sadly told, they were shutting the doors, only after joining them for 4 years. Meanwhile I was confronted to open my own storefront to sell ladies fashion on Main street. I took the chance, gathered my resources. Shortly I was making hefty purchases and beautiful fashion displays. Soon I was crushed. Given 5 years struggling with loss profits, I sadly closed. All my intentions, big dreams and many regrets realizing I had to close my beautiful store and went bankrupt. Soon after that hardship, I was encouraged to be a florist again.

Still working as a florist in 2015, I injured my lower back, pretty bad. No longer able to lift or stand, barely surviving the challenging hours. Only a month later the owner dismissed me!

In my thoughts there was no answers and so much back pain. When at my lowest point in my life, I asked God, “ What am I needing to do?” A guiding answer came to me, saying, “I gave you a talent, people want to see. Help others so they will find out there quest.” I forgot about my talent that I had at birth. 40 astonishing years later I connected with my strong relationship with art. It is amazing and gratifying that I still could draw and wood burn. Using my knowledge of customer service that’s been in-bedded into me, I now have my passion back and much more.

I am thankful for my wonderful, supportive husband. Paul had seen me through many disappointing times. Also, my two impressive adult children, April and Andy and five terrific grandchildren. Huge blessings to my sisters and close friends, for keeping my chin up with your thoughtful words. Callback supporters, customers and new friendships.

Thanks for trusting me to create your masterpieces. Giving me joy in every burn, creating art to bring into your homes & gifts to the people I’ve never met and you love. Gratitude and deepest appreciation to everyone from the bottom of my heart.

Praise God and guardian spirits for his plans of showing me my pathway, that I now cherish deeply.

Looking back, I have been where I was suppose go, was guided where I was needed. My life has lead me to help others, place a smile on their face in difficult times and the happiest of days.
